get a 3" exhaust, free up some more power out of it, get your trap speed to 105ish.
practice on your 555r, get you 60 to 2.1 or lower, you'll break 13's

True, those are very similar numbers for automatic turbo b18b but at 7 to 9psi tho. I believe there's somthing wrong with your launch or maybe those tires aren't cutting it. 10psi should get you in the low 13s.

Re: new track times....evaluate please (LS-T2001)
i'm thinkin i have to fix my 60ft before i head for a larger exhaust
if i gain hp, i'll get more traction issues, rather than fix the ones i already have
where are u launching at?
i'm getting a lot of spin. the tires don't stick in first and i only get the top 2k rpms in 2nd.

Re: new track times....evaluate please (TurbothisLS)
What rpm are you launching at?
My experience with street tires at the track is they spin a lot compared to regular pavement. All that rubber embedded in the asphalt isn't helping you unless you have slicks. Try to modulate the throttle on 1-2 shifts with street tires.

your mph is right where it should be. just gotta practice those luanches.
are u cleaning the tires off in the water and doing a big burnout? the nitto's really need to smoke to get heated up. if u heat em up enough they will hook bad ***. u should be luanching around 4k if the tires are heated up enough.

Alot of people disagree with me on this, but I found that it works for me. When you shift, dont do it as fast as you can, let the RPM's drop and then shift right before it drops out of your powerband. I found that this helps alot with traction in second. I dont mean takes 5 seconds to shift into 2nd, but wait half a second or so after you would normally shift.

it's your 60ft, like everyone else said, your mph is there like colin said. i think once you can hit a 2.1 or better, then welcome to the 13 second club. just wondering what your tire pressure was at?

remember, a tenth in your 60ft. is usually 2-3 tenths in the quarter!
shift at redline in each gear. u definitely have a low 13 sec LS-T

Yup, 104mph is good for 13.4-13.6, somewhere in that range. Get your 60ft down to 2.0 or lower and you're there.

Re: new track times....evaluate please (sushibug)
that's what i heard too
but i still feel that this car is 13 seconds already, just not there because of traction issues.
anyone have advice on fixing traction issues? better tires, where to launch at?

It's more or less a 24" slick.
Overall Diam. 23.9" x 7.6 x 15.0
Tread Width 7.6"
23.9 x 7.6 x 15.0
My friend cuts low 1.8 60ft's on these with his LS/Turbo Hatch *LSD*
I ripped a 2.08 w/o LSD
Best street tire on the market.

These guys cut 1.5's with these tires.

Re: new track times....evaluate please (LS-hatch)
Ive heard bad things about reliability on the BFG's. How long would they last with only the occasional track visit?
But I'll spend the $250 every summer for traction.
Winter time = Falken Azenis.
