Default 2011 Air Mix Actuator issue

The passenger side hot cold mix actuator finally gave it up on my 2011 CRV. I am not sure where exactly it is located. Anyone have advice and/or a picture of the location?

Do you have climate control or manual A/C? What trim level is the CR-V?

1. Generally, on this forum we only allow one user name per user.

2. Climate control have separate driver and passenger air mix control motors.

Do you have the specific trouble code?

The car's HVAC system has a self-diagnostic mode which will indicate the trouble code.

I made an account, but it wouldn't take the correct password for some reason. I logged in with Facebook instead. I have not ran the diagnostic mode. Due to it being and intermittent problem and the nature of the problem, I narrowed it to that part. With a/c running it blows cold on the drivers side and hot on the passengers side. Sometimes the problem will resolve itself on it's own, but my wife just wants me to fix it for good.

Attach are photos of the location of the passenger side and the driver's side for climate control.

I don't have the instructions for the CR-V HVAC self-diagnostic function. That would help confirm if it is due to the passenger side air mix control motor though.

Thank you very much. I thought that looked like it could be it, but the numbers that I could see on it didnt match the replacement part number I found. I can try the diagnostic mode tomorrow to confirm the issue.
