Good morning everyone I am new to the forum. I just purchased a certified used Honda Accord Sport in the end of December. I just got off the phone with Honda 800 number. I am requesting in writing when the original in service date is for my car so I will be able to calculate the end date on my power train warranty. They were able to tell me over the phone but they are unable to put in writing. In the past I have purchased certified Toyota's and this was part of the paper work that you would receive in the mail from Toyota, so I am have a hard time accepting this. What I am asking is, is this something that Honda does and I spoke to the wrong rep or do they not provide new owners of a certified used car with the original in service date in writing when in fact you are promised a 7 year warranty on the power train from the original in service date. I would like to hear from other Honda owners.

 

I cant directly answer your question, I can say that the door tag will have the month and year of production,so you can at least have general idea of when the vehicle will likely have went into service.....
