My hinge cracked internally the other day which seems to a well known issue. The real fix is replacing it but I wanted to see if anyone has tried this "new and improved design" that is being marketed here: https://www.autopartscheaper.com/pro...nt=36084585548

Is this an OEM part or a 3rd party part? I would prefer to not throw money at something that is just going to happen again. Does anyone know the improved part number if this is an OEM part? Thank you!
