Hi folks, I'm stuck and am in need of advice. I have a B20 motor in a 95 Del Sol that has a stripped threaded hole where the upper alternator bracket attaches to the block. I can’t tell but I suspect the bolt is broken off in the hole because the hole depth only measures 3/8-inch. Looking up the bolt on line, I see it’s a 10mm, but it looks like someone tried to rethread the hole to 12mm. Regardless I have 3/8-inch depth and no threads. I am out of my depth here and I'm not sure how to proceed. How would you go about fixing this? Thanks in advance!

Reason: Added it is in a Del Sol!
Picture is sideways but yes that's the hole for the upper alternator bracket. ( Edit: Oops I see I pictured the wrong hole there sorry) The kid I bought the car from had a D-16 alternator rigged up that made it till I got home. Bolt he had in there was about 1.5 inches long but only threaded 3 /8-inch in as that's the length of the hole. The bolt didn't look broken. Here is a betterr picture. hole in question is just below the middle of the horizontal hose.
