Default 2000 Civic Ex Automatic Use 97 D16y8 Manifold that does not have air injection.

Hi all I have 2000 EX Civic Automatic that has a manual intake manifold on it now and I believe this is causing my surging RPMS and overheating. I purchased the car this way and it appears that hoses are all over the place that they shouldn't be. Well i pulled a y8 Auto Manifold from the junkyard. come to realize it does not air injection holes. Will I be able to use this manifold without modification or should i just suck it up and pull another one with air injection?

It is really difficult to plug the casting gaps on the cylinder head of a 2000 Y8 engine to effectively use an early ('96-98) intake manifold. Your best bet is to use a '99-00 Y8 auto intake manifold.
