Em1 and Del Sol Oil Pan
I have a dumb question; I smacked my oil pan on my 2000 Civic Si (Dohc 1.6L B16a2) and now it's leaking. My buddy has an extra New oil pan off a 1.6L Sohc 2000 del sol or 90 something, idk...
Can i possibly install this Sohc oil pan on my 2000 Civic si Dohc b16a2 to save some money? 😅

Re: Em1 and Del Sol Oil Pan
OP, you will have to use a "B" series oil pan. The Civic Si uses the same pan as the '94-01 Integra LS/RS/GS, '94-97 Del Sol VTEC (B16A3/2), and the '97-01 CR-V. You can even use an Integra GSR or Type R oil pan, but they hang down slightly lower than what you already have, so the risk of damage with that pan is even greater than what you already smashed.
Once repaired, you may want to raise the car back up a bit to reduce the chances of smacking your oil pan on something else and placing you back in this position.
