My 94 eg with a b20b swap doesn't want to start I just replaced the fuel pump with a walboro 255 also put a aem fuel rail,aem fuel pressure regulator it was running earlier today took it around the block and it started to cut out lost power and died now it will crank but not start anybody have any ideas??

 

check for spark and fuel

 

I have spark,but I don't think it's getting fuel

 

check the electrical connector, also make sure the sock didn't fall off the pump

 

Ima check that in the morning,the fuel pump is priming so it's connected

 

The fuel pumps good I don't know what it could be

 

how did you verify spark?

 

Had my buddies turn it over and took out the spark plug,u know a more accurate way??

 

Hope you're not flooding the cylinders and I'm not sure why you added those fuel parts w/o a gauge.

what color is the spark?

 

I just checked it again I'm getting no spark

 

You probably blew the igniter after all those tests.

I checked the coil it's good,I put new injectors in it now my fuel pump is making weird notices and I'm not getting any fuel pressure

 

I put a new coil and ecm,and rotor in the dizzy it runs now,but idles at like 1100-1500 any thoughts on why it idles so high?

 

Did you try adjusting the ignition timing?

Start here:

Remove air intake.

Cover hole inside TB leading to IACV with a finger while engine is high idling.

Does the idle speed drop dramatically?

I just checked it my iacv wasn't hooked up but now it's bouncing from 1k-3k with the iacv hooked up
