So I traded my piece of **** da for a 93 del sol. The car is mint however, when I got to start it it will just crank. If I turn the key off and try to start it again it will start then die. If i repeat this process a third time the car usually starts and stays running but has shitty throttle response. Any input would be appreciated!

 

If you fix the running problem, it will almost certainly start easier as well.

Look at the basics first, like timing, compression, and ECU codes.
