New to mods/swaps...95 eg dx at - 94 eg ex mt
I'm confused on what to do at this point. 95 Dx hatch is my daily, 94 ex coupe I bought the whole car 200$ for parts(rod bearing went, but drove it on the trailer to take home) . Fixed my break issue/upgraded to 8" rear, got heavy duty floor mats 4 brand new tires on 14" rims, and hid headlights at which point I was happy with the investment.
Dx has 320k, door is worn out. Window Regulator went out and am attempting a power door conversion.
I NEED the window to work asap, but I also would like to swap the trans and possibly do a "mini me".
all the threads seem like a person with one car and needs to shop for parts and splicing harnesses.
I have a parts car with whatever harnesses needed/wanted, p28 and MT. Also why I'm debating the mini on such a high mileage engine.
at this moment..... I all ready swapped door and floor harness, window works awesome, zero lights outside car except headlights and no dash lights either. So I unhooked and started to splice, but the wires are not playing on the "plug n play"....advice would help.. .ill say again, 320k miles, about 4 gallons of bondo, and now as it sits it's black with green doors. But it's my econobeater, my other vehicle is an 01 f350 diesel that leaks more oil than the car uses fuel,
is there a point at which I can swap harness without having to repin anything?

No need to repin anything when you're doing an auto--> manual conversion. There area few wires at the shifter you need to connect to each other so it will allow you to remove the key out of the ignition.
