Eg Dx Hatch Power Doors
ok so I know everyone is going to say this has been covered millions of times but this is a slightly different situation.. or at least I haven't seen this covered yet. instead of completely converting my manual doors to power, I have power doors from an eg ex coupe which are COMPLETE. windows and locks work, panels are clean. so with that being said, besides the obvious bolting on and off of the doors, how much work will it take to put the power coupe doors on my dx hatch? in case it wasn't clear I have complete power doors from an ex eg coupe and I wanna put them on my eg dx hatch.
thanks for help in advance and hope this is the right section! wanna do this soon...

Re: Eg Dx Hatch Power Doors
you have to change out the Cabin harness with one from an EX model that had that option. Otherwise you will have to do a bunch of searching, and wiring.
To change that harness, you have to pull the dash and carpet under the dash.

^ Firewall (= cabin) harness is the main thing. You don't have to swap in the whole harness, but it does make for a clean install. Instead you can disassemble the firewall harness and strip out the wiring you need. Consult the various DIYs on how to do this. Note that this is also an EXCELLENT time to also add cruise control... or at least, leave the wiring intact for cruise control so you can add it easily at a later date.
Your source vehicle for the harness can be a USDM 2dr Coupe EX or a 4dr Sedan LX/EX.

thanks for the response guys.. i think i'm going to take the easier route and look for two matching manual doors. doesn't seem too hard to do the power door ordeal with a couple friends and some tools, but i'm not very mechanically inclined in that field and i wanna get my car on the road asap. appreciate the help as always
