Default Honda Civic EK OBD2

Hello, sorry if this post does not belong here.

I'm building a buggy car with my dad to compete in the Icelandic rallycross. and we are using a motor from a 1997 EU EK civic.

As we where cutting out everything from the wiring loom we accidentally cut the wires for the OBD2 signal, we managed to dig the plug out of the trash but now we have no idea where it connects to.
we have looked all over the web for wiring diagrams with out any results. and we where hoping someone here could help us out. i can provide pictures if needed.

Best Regards a really hopefully person.

This is the plug we cut out and can't figure out where it goes.

I can't identify that one, possibly because my books are for US/Canada cars. Do you know where that was in the car? What it on the engine or body harness? What color is the clipped wire? What engine was in the car originally?

1. That plug was under the steering wheel with another plug that had 2 wires in them. you can see the green cover that they both where sat in.
2. Definitely the engine harness.
3. I can post the color of the clipped wire later.
4. The engine and harness is from a B16 engine.

The cut wire is brown with a black stripe.

Ahh, I think I see what's going on.

Referring to https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-...civic-3240777/

It looks like the car this came from does not have the 16-Pin OBDII port like we get here in the states but instead has a 3-pin Data Link Connector like our older OBDI cars. 3P Connector is the Data Link Connector. 2P is the Service Check Connector.

I can't seem to locate a wiring schematic for the EK4, but you should be able to find a manual there that will have it.

The three wires should be roughly:
Blue/Red wire => ECU
Brown => Service Check Connector and ECU
White/Red => Fuse box
