Default All Motor B20 high comp build ecu for emissions question

So im building a block for my 1st Gen Crv with some forged rods king bearings an ycp pistons, im using a pr8 head and b20z cams and going to get a chiped ecu and tune on 93, but can the stock ecu still be used for emissions inspection?(shop is maybe 10 miles from my house) or no due to the higher CR at 11:0:1 im in NY and they only do a obd2 computer scan

Not likely. NY has its own emissions parameters. You're welcome to try, but again, you won't likely pass.

The only thing i really need it to do is run the engine for the brief period that its being run for codes , im just wondering if due to the higher compression if id get detonation if the engine would run at al oor if it would run would i have to possibly up fuel pressure and advance/ retard timing to prevent detonation , people around here keep obd2 ecus for their swaps for emissions all the time ususaly just extend out the secondary 02 sensor as a lot of local shops dont care as long as a code isnt getting thrown

Again, that is your risk to take. Detonation is very possible depending upon the ecu used even for short time periods.

There's no predictability here, unfortunately.
