Ok im thinking about installing a upgraded clutch together with the new engine for the breaking in procedure not to take the trans again aout for clutch later...
Hp for now will be like 350 - 400. Later ill go for the best i can on 93(100 EU) + water meth, lets say 600-650hp
Engine is 84x89 sleeved.
In my knowledge 600 on a single disc stage 4 whatever is kinda pushing it.
So im thinking o getting a twin disc to be on the safe side power wise . (If we are sure a particular 6pack can hande 600 safely why not)
The problem is i never had a twin or driver a honda with a twin.
Its supposed to be softer on the foot from the stage 4 6puck... right?
Clutchmasters has 2 options
“Street and Race” (TD7S) – 1 ceramic rigid disc, and 1 fiber tuff rigid disc "
and “Race” (TD7R) – 2 ceramic rigid discs :
On the other hand Competition clutch now only has the high hp rating C option available 4-8026-C (they stopped lower hp rating A and B options)
AND its around 200 euros/$ cheaper if we include the flywheel in both companies.
Whats you experiences with these. What do you know ? What would you buy ?

clutches are measured by torque. so at 600-650whp, assuming torque will be in the 400wtq range. I think a single disc will be fine. now 500 wtq and higher yea a twin disc would be smart. I believe az_civic was dd car with a twin disc when it had a **** ton less power though.
My $.02 from personal use with a Spec Twin, CC Twin, ACT extreme single, and CC 5 single w/ heavy plate ...at the power/trq you are wanting to make; I would stick to a single and enjoy. I personally did not like the engagement of the twin in "normal" driving. The twins and ACT were on a D 500+whp motor, the CC Stage 5 on the F series (because I did not want the twin drivability and chatter in that car).

IMO, no. (also had them in a 88 that was fully converted to hydro). No because thee was no slipping in and out of the shift. It was all or nothing and the pedal touched the stop (which was pretty short). With the singles there was "more room to play" w/ engagement on the street.
