Hi everyone, so i have a 93 civic lx manual and I've only had the car for about a week well the speedo has worked fine up until after i drove the car yesterday. I got home parked it and now this morning the speedo, odometer and trip meter are not working any possible causes other than the VSS or the cluster being bad? Also i am not getting a CEL or anything

 

Doing a bit of searching you may have noticed this is a pretty common problem in these generation of cars.

It's very likely a bad board on the back of the speedo. There are lots and lots of threads regarding this at your disposal.

 

I had a problem with my speedo awhile back ago. I ended up taking out the speedo, resoldering the exposed solder points in the back and the speedo has worked well since. It is very easy to do.
