Default High Milage 02 Civic Boost?

I am thinking about getting a 2002 Honda Civic EX and I want to boost it. My question is will a 300,XXX mile motor be able to take the boost? If so how much PSI stock? I dont mind modifying components since i go to school for this stuff and it would be a learning experience so I'm open to suggestions on how to go about doing that if i have to.

You need to take steps to assess the health of the motor before you even think about going forced induction. ALL maintenance needs to be up to date. Leak down test. As much of the history/verifiable(!) records on the motor/transmission as you can find. Even then, it's a gamble. Personally, I would avoid doing it on an engine with that many miles just on principle.

If you have yet to buy the car, you might want to consider another platform. Not that D series can't be successfully boosted, just that there may be better options out there.

It all depends on how well the car was taken care of. If it was well maintained then it will go for as long as you decided to keep it maintained.

Btw if you are looking to go boost I am selling a Hondata AEM cam gear and k-pro chippable ecu which is the only tuning platform for 7th gen D17.

You should be thinking about getting a grip.
Buy an rsx typeS and start out with 100hp more than the civic already.

Get an 8th gen, or v6 accord

Give the 7th gen to your girlfriend to drive
