Boost High Milage D-motor!?!
I tried to search old post and what not, and was unable to find much.
I am going to be getting a 1994 civic Ex, auto, with 160,000 miles off of my friend for dirt cheap. He has not messed with it at all and it is still totally stock. I know he beat on it here and there but there is NO RUST at all!! I am going to buy it next week and still have to do a compression test and everything still.
My orginal plan was to make it manual, boost it, blow it up, and have a motor on the side ready to go in but i am low on funds to get another motor so i just want to mess around with this one. I have a second car that i drive daily so this will be my project car.
Overall i wanna boost it but am afraid of the high miles, but i know if i get a good tune it will be okay, but then again, it is automatic too . . .
Any thoughts or info?
