Default Question tunning a d16a9 without lambda

Hi
I want to tune my D16A9 (right now stock) my original ece itīs a 37820-PM7-B031, itīs a non catalytic so itīs hasnt a o2 sensor ( i dont know if the owner that i buy the crx take off the o2 sensor because im not sure that i have ima sensor...i dont think, i think i dont have any right now) ... when i said tune im looking for performance (less consumption) no more power so i think i have 2 ways

1- Looking for a ECU p29 that DEL SOL uses the same engine d16a9 but on OBD1, and also get the distrtibuitor obd1 (because cant i use the distribuitor obd0, can i?? changing the wire with a harness?) and injectors (or stock injectos without resistor) and put O2 heater sensor

2- Change to ECU OBD1 + hondata + O2 wide Sensor... and tune it...

i would like to read your opinion

THANKS

well if i understand, i can use a o2 sensor with one cable putting on C16 of my ecu

Can i use a o2 sensor with 3 cables (with resitor)?? i suppose have to change the ecu for a obd1 that control the heater.... doesnīt it? is there any obd1 ecu without vtec that i can use with a harness jumper (obd0 to obd1)... or i need a hondata + p28 to cancel vtec mapping?

thanks

You can use your OBD0 injectors with an OBD1 ecu just fine. Either way, you'll need an OBD1 distributor.

Get Hondata or get a chipped OBD1 ECU. You will need a jumper harness to go between the ecu and cabin harness. https://www.rywire.com/product-p/ecu-obd0-obd1.htm

Wide band O2 is required for tuning.
