2001 honda accord lx it dies when i try to gun it at a stop light and when i turn steering wheel all the way and its been idling really rough like shaking steering wheel rough. The only thing ive done is replace spark plugs with the recommended ones from manual. Any thought?

 

How are the belts?
What do you mean by "gun it"?

 

I mean try to accelerate fast

 

How many miles do you have on the car?

What is the maintenance history besides the spark plugs?

 

Im not sure on history Ive only had this car since aug 1st but its got 205k in miles the only thing ive done is put a new valve cover gasket, a new o2 sensor and plus spark plugs and oil every 3k since I drive for work.

 

I recommend you to check the TPS, and also de adjustment on the throttle cable... It should be some problem there, because when you turn all the way you're asking to the engine to do more power for the hydropump, if you have a bad TPS, then the throttle is not going to know what to do
