Just last week this happened. Everything was going fine with my gsr then suddenly when I go to speed up while getting on the freeway whenever the VTEC kicks on it bogs down instead of picks up. It seems to have a more throaty sound to it as well where typically they all seem to become higher pitched when they kick on.

Anyone know what the hell might be causing this? I checked fluids and all were ok, my oil was down about a quart so I added some oil but I don't know what would be causing this.........???????

 

Check your oil for metal shavings, could be a spin rod bearing or a clogged fuel filter/old spark plugs.
