(US) First Honda: 93 del Sol Si. Could have 250k+ miles..
Hey guys, so I recently bought my first Honda, a del Sol which I plan on using to commute 300+ miles/week.
It has a new odometer so I have no way of knowing the true mileage. I want to determine exactly what engine I have, since it isn't necessarily the original engine. Is there a way to decipher my engine serial number?
It drives fine, and passed smog first try, but I'm not driving it further til I do the water pump and timing belt at least. Wheel bearings probably directly after that.
Anything else should I inspect/replace immediately?

Have you looked at the FAQ sticky in this section?
Unless you have proof of the timing belt being changed recently, the first thing I would change is the timing belt and water pump no matter how good it may look.
