Default 95 eg clicks but won't start

So my car clicks but wouldn't start, found a blue plastic piece that broke off from somewhere by the clutch. The car wouldn't start when stepping down on clutch so did some research and it was the top harness with 2 wires by the clutch pedal. I took the harness out and ran a speaker wire connecting both pins and it started up perfectly fine so I jumped the 2 wires. Car started up and drove perfectly fine for about 2 days and now my car won't start again, checked the wires and they're fine. It clicks but won't start, all dash lights are working fine and doesn't flicker or die. Anyone know what my next step should be?

Leaving the clutch switch jumped can cause problems. Either replace the clutch switch or run a toggle switch in it's place so the wires aren't always connected. It causes the starter relay to always be on and feeding the starter.

You may need a new starter relay now, or at least try unplugging it and see if you can get it working again. Easiest way to check is test voltage at the starter signal wire on the solenoid when you turn the key.

Any idea where I can find the clutch switch? Does it come on a whole harness like the engine harness with multiple plugs or is it it's on plug?

You can either buy a new one from Honda or other parts store (Advance, Autozone, etc)....or get one from the salvage yard. It's the upper sensor, not the lower one on the clutch pedal. Those two are not interchangeable because the plugs as well as the sensors are different.

Before replacing it, you need to check that the plastic piece on the pedal assembly that pushes the switch hasn't fallen out. This is more commonly the problem vs a bad switch. Some people just glue a penny over the hole on the top of the pedal.

"clutch/brake pedal stop pad".....that's the part you're looking for.

since the clutch bypass and brake light sensors are adjustable, not sure why Honda didn't just welded a piece there instead of that crappy pad.
