Alright so my 96 civic ex on a cold start won't idle it will just die, I have to hold it down until it gets to normal temp and it will idle, but it idles at 1500 and kinda bounces like bounce rpms it's hard to explain but it drives fine just when it is idleing I'm thinking it the iacv. Any help? Thanks in advanced. Charles.

 

Try cleaning it first.

 

2 bolts, 2 hoses, 2 electrical clips.

Spray the bitch out with carb or brake cleaner, give it a few minutes to dry out, and put it back together. 10 min job.
