External ATTS cooler
The two lines are not directional... you can connect them either way. Just make sure that the new oil cooler is directly in a space that is visible through the bumper cover so that it receives direct air flow.
Does this cooler has to be the same height with the ATTS unit or it is ok to mount it higher than the ATTS unit itself, will ATTS strong enough to pump the ATF up to the cooler?
I finished installing Mishimoto Radiator and separate Mishimota ATF Cooler for ATTS.
I drained and refilled ATTS and it took appx..8qt for the fluid to come out thru the Level Hole.
I disconnected the Right (Pass. side) ATTS hose on top of the Transmission right before Metal Tubing and put little funnel onto the rubber hose. It much easier than filling using Fill Hole above the Level Hole.
My question is do I need more Fluid since I have External Cooler? I think the External Cooler itself and those In and Out Hoses will hold about 1qt or more ATF.

Best way to check is to lightly operate the vehicle enough to move fluid through the whole system again, and then let it settle and recheck the level. How much more would obviously depend on the size of cooler and length of lines. If you had filled them as a test before install, you would have a more exact figure.
