Default Best MAP sensor for 1.5

We are racing a 86 civic with a 1.5 on a 1/4 mile oval asphalt track and must be 100% stock. I believe the MAP sensor is bad and need to replace it. the original OEM one cost 250.00 . Could i use one from a later model that cost less?

junk yard, or a wrecked civic from 1990-2001. They are all the same Denso MAP sensor

Show a picture of what you have. A lot of us here aren't terribly familiar with the older engines.

ohhhhh... That's a different animal altogether from the other D/B/H/F series that were the standard.
*Edit* I just realized it was from a 1986 MAP sensor. That's OBD0. You're better off going to the junkyard as I stated. .. Sorry about that. !

That one you'll need to try on your own. If it has the right voltage signal for your ECU, sure. If not, nope...

No one really deals with that OBD0 from 1986.. Not even me, and I'm OLD..
