After changing cams, should change map sensor?
I've a b16a2 and have just put a pair spec3 buddyclub cams. After a few days engine throwing map sensor code 3 and can't identify the problem.Do you think i'll have to upgrade the map sensor despite a non-turbo engine?

I only want to know if is it neccessary to change the stock map sensor when changing cams(Aggressive cams) replacing with 2.5 bar map sensor something like that.
You said that maybe my map sensor is bad,but according to Honda fault ecu code, cel 3 indicates defective circuit, mechanical issues.

So what does the manual say is a way to troubleshoot it? Go through those steps and let us know the out come. If you have a friend with a known good map sensor, it'll be a 60 second swap and try that. GL!

i have already tested an another one,it results the same code.I'm doubting my wiring.why do people replace their stock map sensor to 2.5 bar or above, how far is it important of an N/A engine.Does it make sense assuming a b16 N/A running with an upgraded map sensor?

There is no need to replace your map sensor with a 2.5 bar map sensor unless your car is turbo'd. The reason behind this is because stock Honda map sensors can only see boost up to 11 or 12 psi and anything past that it will not read. When your is running anything past 12 psi of boost it is necessary to upgrade your map ie: 2.5 bar or 3 bar map sensor is order for the map sensor to read it.
In any case, running a upgraded map sensor on a n/a engine is absolutely unecessary.
