Well now I have a CEL 15 code being thrown at me, checked the manual it says "Ignition Output Signal"?!?!?! Car runs fine, jsut have the CEL.

Its a 95 cx with a 98 d16y8 motor using the cx dist. and a dx ecu , I know I know, but I am currently looking for a p28.

Some one help me, so I dont have to set the car on fire!!!!

there was a general recall on 98 civic's for ignition problems... that's all i can think of... reset the code and see if it pops back again? *shrug*

 

Nope that wasnt it, you guys think 3 Gallons of gas will work, or should I jsut fill up the tank and rig up somekinda fuse deal???? Personlly I think the tank would be a bigger explosion, but it will cost more too

 

Woohoo, I fixed it, last ngiht as I was pooring gas on the car, I spotted a wire comming of the dist that was melted, so I just electrical taped it off and no more code, WOOHOOOOOO, I think I am still going to burn it though, it just sounds like fun!!!!
