I ha e a 98 civic ex , the d16y8. I keep getting p0325 check engine. I replaced the wireing harness, knock sensor , checked the ecu , still coming on. Any ideas what else it could be?

 

Do you get the code immediately after "key on" or does it come on after driving after a short time ??? If the answer is the former, try another known good ECU to see if the problem goes away. In the case of the latter, retard the ignition/distributor timing and try using premium unleaded fuel.

 

I have to drive it for some time. May take a full day it may take 3 days , it depends. I'll get back with results after everything.

 

Update: it took up too 100+ some miles for it to turn back on again. I'm still clueless.

 

Time to get a scanner / reader and a manual and start checking.
