I never thought I'd hear about a VTEC controller being a standalone "VTEC" Controller .

But PM me an e-mail address, I'll gladly send you the PDF, that contains the manual that includes the wiring diagram. I keep it in my archives.

Its common on people wanting to put an A2 head on their D17A1's, without running a different ECU and harness.

You're definitely right it is, But I've been trying to look for a diy for the install. None of the threads I found arent even walkthroughs. I need an walkthrough so I know what to do before I hack into my ECU wires.

You're not going to find a lot of "how-tos" or "walk-throughs" on this forum any longer. That died out about 10 years ago, sadly. The attention span of the masses to create a write-up just isn't long enough.

Yeah I've realized that. Apexi VAFC is pretty old. I can see why but at least someone had to do a write up. I mean I can't be the only one present day who wants to do a headswap and run a VTEC controller.

I don't see why you'd expect that, honestly in this day & age. Just because someone performed that install doesn't mean they were altruistic enough to create an entire write up. People just aren't that nice anymore, and would rather leech off of other's efforts rather than acknowledge their efforts for their work-product . Not like even 10 years ago, when it was at least fun to help out.

BTW, did you receive your PDF?

Yeah I did receive it thanks it actually helped me wire it up. I have 2 pressure signal wires left to wire and a throttle signal. I'm kinda confused on how to run the 2 pressure signal wires. Anyway I can just hook them up to the same wire without cutting? And I'm guessing those run to the map sensor? And then the throttle signal wire runs to the TPS? So many questions lol.

We used to have an active thread DIY for the head swap, but the pictures are down.

In fairness, that thread is 11 years old.

I hadn't wired anything like that up in over 15 years, homie. .... And certainly not on an EM2 chassis. You're on your own on that one.
