I recently hit a curb with my front passenger tire. it slightly bent the rim. the front passenger tire is shaky and progressively getting worse. Is this just the rim or will i need to replace the bearing as well?

 

Well....is it just the rim, or did you damage the wheel bearing also?

 

Quick, easy check, swap with the rear. It's probably not wheel bearing but a bent wheel can cause nuts to loosen.

 

Lower control arm and lower ball joint may be damaged as well if the wheel bearing is damaged, and you may need a camber kit to keep tires properly aligned even after performing these repairs. Take the car for an alignment and have them give you an measurement before and after the task; assuming your LCA and wheel bearing doesn't show physical signs of damage . You can check if the wheel bearing is in sustainable condition by jacking the car up seeing if the tire/wheel wobbles; there are youtube videos on this.
