98 hatchback/94 acura integra
I recently did a motor swap from a 94 rs integra 5 speed into a 94 integra gs auto kept the 5 speed long story short the gs is no longer drivable...was able to pick up a 98 hatchback 5 speed with a blown motor...I have both 94 integra's with 2 good b18b1''s what parts can I use for the swap wanting to put the b18b1 5 speed in it...can I use the ecu from the integra? I know this swap has been posted and beat to death but I never seen one about having a complete donor car.

Can I just use my 94 integrated ecu? Without modding it? And for motor mounts do I just order the 99-00 si mounts or can I use integral or the civics the civic is a d15 or 16 not sure just know it's non vtec it's being hauled to my house right now
The most sensible solution would be to use the following:
The engine, transmission, axles, shift linkage and ECU from the '94 Integra.
Engine harness from the '98. You will need to swap the injector plugs OR source a set of '96-00 Civic EX or Integra injectors.
Source a '96-98 Integra LS distributor OR a distributor plug adapter to convert the engine harness plug from OBD-2 to OBD-1.
All mounts from the '98 Civic will work AND you will need to replace the 3-bolt driver's side engine bracket (one bolt inside the timing cover) with the 2-bolt design from a '99-00 Civic Si AND use the rear T-bracket from a '99-00 Si.
Purchase an ECU harness adapter to convert from OBD-2A to OBD-1 so that you can plug the '94 Integra ECU into the '98 Civic engine harness. Trying to use an OBD-2 type ECU will require a bunch of changes to the intake manifold and oil pump just to keep the check-engine light turned off, so unless you are in Cali... consider it too much trouble.
If you want to keep A/C and P/S... use the '98 Civic A/C compressor and a '94-97 Del Sol DOHC bracket or a '97-01 CRV bracket. Also, use the '98 Civic P/S pump and bolt it to a '97-01 CRV P/S bracket.
Done.

Not in cali and love my obd1 thanks for that very detail response don't sound any harder than the auto to manual swap I just did specially since the hatch is already a 5 speed....plus I got the hatch for 200 no rust no dents....needs a paint job but o well that's an easy fix neighbor owns a booth...wish I could use the d series trans bet the gears are heck of a lot shorter
Maybe a dumb queston but maybe I'm not typing something right where can I get just the oem civic si mounts and brackets I need all the ones I find people say they are super stiff and went back to oem
Or why not just buy hardracing mounts, ex engine harness or get the distributor conversion adapter, crv ac bracket, transmission si torque mount/bracket obd2a p75 ecu

OK where other than ebay can I get bracket? All my integra mounts are brand new and my b18b1 has brand new distributor....done a lot of work to the old b18 that has only 130k on it I have 2 integra's and one 99 hatch at the moment so anything I can take from integra and not buy anything customers I'm going to be dropping b18c1 in the integra this upcoming winter but I have a complete gsr for that swap so I need nothing from the ls....othe than the rear end cus gsr is smashed
Obviously, finding them used is hit or miss... so it comes down to how long you are willing to search and/or wait to find them at a low price. You can get them new from your local Honda Parts Department... the rear "T" bracket part number is 50827-S04-N10 and the driver's side engine bracket is 11910-P30-000 . I would order the ECU adapter harness from Boomslang Fabrication and re-wire the engine harness distributor plug to fit the OBD-1 distributor... that is, unless you feel that someday you would be returning the SOHC engine back into the bay and would need to roll back any engine harness changes... and thus, a plug and play solution would be more appropriate. These can be found at RyWire I believe.
Thanks for the part numbers that will make this easy...and heck no..there will never be a sohc back under that hood only thing that might change is either turbo or vtec but it will stay a b18
