Default 98 Ex low speed jerking

I have a 98 EX with a swapped b16a/GSR head and when I'm not touching the gas pedal in 2nd gear at low speed/rpm in a parking lot for example it seems to jerk back and forth until I press the gas again. This is my first manual car, is this a normal thing or is there something wrong?

You're question isn't very descriptive. It sounds like you might be letting the clutch out too far before applying gas.

Operator error so it seem. It is his "first manual car".. more practice needed.

You're going too slow for second gear. If you're trying to slow down or stop, push the clutch in just let the car roll. When you need to accelerate, shift to first.

I'm not touching the clutch, I'm rolling in 2nd gear at about 7-10 mph in a parking lot and it bucks back and forth the entire time until I touch the gas again. It doesn't seem like its close to stalling either..

Its the linkage between the seat the steering wheel. Its causing the car to drive too slow in second gear

It could be TPS induced... improper voltage setting of the TPS could create the light-throttle "bucking" that you describe. Also, it could be in the tune if you have a tuneable ECU.
