Default Throwing in the towel

Well I am done with trying to repair the 01 accord. Today while putting the plugs in on #1 I was like, why is this plug higher than the others? I took it back out and it had a anti fouler on the end of it. I took the anti fouler off and tried to start the engine. Now the engine starts runs for a second and cuts off, starts runs for a second and cuts off. With the anti fouler installed the car would run like crap but it would run. Just fed up with messing with this car. Going to cut my loses and junk the car. The car was wrecked when I bought it but it ran very well so I put a new core support and complete front end on it. Just wasted time and money. Feeling really disgusted.

Did a compression test yesterday. Did not test a WOT. At closed throttle cyl #1-175, #2-160, #3&4-150. I did not know compression test was at WOT. Was going to retest today but right now just discouraged. Seems like everything I do just creates another problem. Strange, the cylinder with the highest compression is the one with the anti fouler in it. I wonder if the anti fouler being in there made the compression higher?

Is the vehicle using any oil? It is strange to have the anti fouler because your car doesn't seem to exhibit any of the symptoms they band aid.

The plug I removed from #1 was a little sooty looking but not soaked with oil.

To be honest I don't know. I bought the car wrecked and repaired the body damage. I drove it around the neighborhood a couple of time but not long enough to see if it was using oil. The car ran great until I let it sit for about a month.
