Default H22 EK

Would an H22 engine swap into an ek civic hurt the handling of the car? i'd think so because of its weight difference over the stock 1.6 or even a b16 or b18. Does anyone know the weights of different honda engines? thanks

Going by what I hear, putting an H22 in a smaller car like a hatch creates a lot of understeer on turns and makes controlling the car a little difficult, but I do not know of anyone who has an H22 in a civic.

Was considering putting one in my eg but did not want to do some of the things like cutting up the hump where the shifter goes to install the cables plus the price of mount kits and having to mix match axle pieces.

If I did not care about hacking my car I would do it !

Anyone even thinkin bout the h22 is probably going to only go fast in one direction, a straight line. Yeah its heavier, but so is a b series compared to the d.
