Default H22 EK Handleing?

Is an EK going to be hard to tune suspension wise if the heavy H22 is in the engine bay. i have been thinking that the H22 is what I want to get, but I want a good track car, not just speed. If enough money is put into suspension will the EK be able to handle the H22 better than well around the track, or mountain roads?

I heard the h22 in any civic will kill handling. Its wayyy too heavy in the front. Its only good for drag, if you want speed and cornering, id recommend a b18 series engine.

Yeah i heard that the front end will be unbelieveably heavy. Is there any way to balance that out? I was going to do: tein coilovers with adjustable damping capabilities (EDFC) then all strut, tower, and sway bars, along with brembos up front and regular rotors in back and maybe Azenis Sport on 15 or 16" Rotas. Is this going to help out a lot, or be a total waste of money?????

Yeah I heard, uhhh.... I heard that uhhh... that uhhh... if you put an h22 into your civic that it wont even go around corners any more. You better go with a B18 series motor.

heard this heard that... im not anti h22 or pro h22.. but i do know that it is really a good idea to get first hand experience or hear from someone who has it.. there are people on this board that have them.. ask em.. I'm sure they will be helpful.. but dont judge something just because you "Heard" that it was bad...

i have been told that the h22 in the ek's kills the turning radius, but if you use a accord spring on the front you should get a stiffer ride, I have a friend that had accord springs on the front of his eg because of the wieght. At least use a heavier spring rate on it for sure.

i think you should supercharge. more power without the lag, great for autocrossing. super charge a b18 motor and you have more hp than the h22 without the extra weight.
