looking into an h22 swap into my 96 ek...if u have already gone this route...post some dyno numbers u produced wether stock, minor bolt-ons..etc...
list the mods too...and suspension set up...(just becuase i have heard that h22 r heavier then ur common b series swap and a beefier suspension is needed)....lookin forward to seein some numbers and input on this post!

Would an H22 make more power just by changing what car its in? Why not just ask how much power people are making with their H22's? If you took a motor making 150hp at the flywheel, took it, and all accompanying parts, and put it in another car, is it going to make more or less power now?

Had a h22 in my Ek for about 2 years... Just swapped it back out for a b18c1..

It was
99 h22a4
Skunk2 stage 2's
Skunk2 springs
Skunk2 retainers
Skunk2 camgears
Skunk2 SS flat face valves
Hotshot 4-1 race header.
Walbro 255
Hondata s200 on P28

No port work. Stock bottom end. Butterflies removed from the intake.

It did 192whp and 144wtrq
The fastest I managed was a 9.02 @ 81mph 1/8th @ 2452 (without me)

I just swapped the b18c1 a few months ago.
It has
Skunk2 intake mani.
DC 4-1 (got it for free)
JDM obd2 P73 ecu (ITR)
Hp unknown Tq unknown

I just ran it a week ago and managed a 9.15 @ 77mph 1/8th (14.1-14.2)

The h22 was a low mileage and tuned on hondata... The gsr is a '96 and who knows how many miles...

I would just do a B series... so much less headache...

I WAS MORE INTERESTED IN THE SUSPENSION SETUPS...BUT ALSO CURIOUS ABOUT THE NUMBERS....BECAUSE I HAVE HEARD OF THE CONS ABOUT THIS HEAVY SWAP IN A CIVIC....therefor i asked specifically for those with this swap in an EK!
