Default Tj's OEM D16 Turbo show/build *Super 60*

Hey whats up honda-tech, nickname is TJ. Been lurking here for years alongside building & enjoying honda setups for quite some time now (10 + years). I wanted to share my current setup and future goals- plans. I love the ole single cams! . Such a simple fun engine. I use mine as a DD, grocery getter, track fun, and some road trips if I don't want to drive my Honda Fit or Cr-V.

Enough jibber jabber, here is my baby!

Engine:
Stock OEM rebuilt D16z6 (by me)
75.5mm nippon replacement pistons
Stock rods
kings standard bearings
stock head shaved (.015) yielding 9.5.1 comp
Arp head studs
Skunk 2 intake manifold , ls (b18) throttle body
Hi-Profile IN 700s

TurboKit:
Turbonetics super 60 .63 ( 3" intake w/Bpi Velocity Stack/K&N filter)
Thermalzero turbo blanket
Godspeed Wastegate
Go-autoworks cast log
Go-autoworks 2.5" Dp & dump (DEI Titanium Wrapped)
2.5 inch exhaust _ Dyno max muffler (extremely quiet)

Tuning/Equipment:
Neptune RTPDemon ** Also running the Neptune bluetooth module in the ecu for my tablet** < Makes for an awesome driving experience when data-logging and recording runs. **

Future Mods:
Forged D16 (10-10.5.1 compression) **Separate Block**
Performer X intake manifold
Cam/valve springs
93/E85 Tunes
ID 1000s
300+whp ( pretty much max out my super 60)

I've had a few b-series turbo setups.... But I love the single jingle!!!!
Also anyone considering a Turbonetics Super 60, it's a lovely budget friendly turbo! Suits the engine well!

Here are my most recent numbers from this year.
9psi 233 whp 193 lb-ft
11psi 250 whp 197 lb-ft

Very clean, I like it. What pistons you want to use for 10-10.5 CR?

Thanks man, I'm considering SRP
HONDA / ACURA - HONDA 1992-95 CIVIC EX/Si, 1993-95 DEL SOL D16Z6 - JE Pistons
They have quite a few compression ranges for the sohc. More than what I've seen from other off-the-shelf companies. After speaking with Greg @ go-auto about a mini ram, I'm also going to stick with the trusty ole cast manifold as it'll do everything i need it to do.

**I had also considered doing a simple P2P0 Ibeam-Vitara setup.**

So many ideas lol

I not even heard of this brand. how much you have different parts, it is a pity that is especially popular D16 only. Only this type of engine, there are forged connecting rods, and if I put them together with that SRP pistons with a compression height of 30mm, they will rest in the head
As far as I understand Ibeam-Vitara will be 8.5 CR? I think 10-10.5 is preferable

Yea I'd probably skim my head a little more on the vitara setup to achieve 9.0 compression, but I'm pretty much set on doing to 10.1 forged though

Sharing my latest couple of mods. Triple pod by Ortiz custom pods ( steering column). They make some really cool oem fitting pods. Great for housing my oil pressure, boost , & air/fuel (AEM). This has made my driving experience so awesome.

Tunerview android app greatness running via bluetooth on the Samsung Galaxy tab 7.0 **Excuse the huge pic, photobucket is being silly.

Makes for a fun ride in the passenger or even back seat. I guess if your into staring at parameters and readings from a D16 Turbo
