Lost TDC, need help to reestablish
I was replacing the timing belt and decided to to the front main seal while I was in there. Everything looked great. After successfully replacing the seal and reinstalling the timing belt, I got impatient and with a wrench moved the crank checking for interference, just to make sure. Unfortunately I had not yet pulled the pin on the tensioner and the belt skipped a few grooves. I've lost TDC on the crank and the only way I can figure to restore is to alternately and manually advance the cams, and then the crankshaft one at a time until I get the crank back to TDC. I can't figure a good way to move the crank counter clockwise. All advice gladly welcome. -Pete
Never mind.. I got the crank bolt in without advancing and was able to gently ease it back before the bolt started to loosen.. sorry to bother..
