Default Holset HX35 compressor vband flange

Hey guys. I am looking for the vband flange (and clamp) for the compressor outlet on a Holset HX35. I know Dodge makes a cast aluminum elbow piece beings the turbo is from the Cummins, and I figured I could easily find just the compressor vband flange and clamp but having a hard time. I know I can get the cast aluminum elbow and cut the flange off, but thought I would ask before I find another route. Thank you.

hx35/hx4/s300 turbos are all the same with respect to this compressor outlet flange...just cant find the darn thing in aluminum.

My V-band compressor housing is made of stainless steel. Aluminum would melt if used for a compressor housing.

Weird....every single turbo I have used has an aluminum compressor housing and steel turbine. What turbo do you have that has a steel compressor housing?

x2, and no compressor housing does not get nearly as hot as turbine housing so it does not get anywhere near melting point

Not for when you want the quality ones that don't warp after 2-3 times attached.

It's the turbo world..man up, soldier. (Or reach into that pocket, whichever analogy you choose) ;-)

I have a hx35/40 sitting here, haven't decided if i'm shaving the lip off, or use the 2.5" if it works on my buddies car. its done, just not tuned yet.

Thank you. I will see if I can find a 2.5 vband laying around, see how well it matches up. Beings its a Dodge turbo, I assumed its was some odd/OEM only size

Different aluminum grades have different flash points of melting. So we can all drop this semantic bickering now..

Find a flange or don't use it..you'll be fine

I forgot to mention he put a metal o ring inside of the outlet of the compressor housing, but I don't think that is going to help anything since the seal of the vband seals on the flange itself.
