Just bought this cute sports car and a couple concerns. What should I look at , cause there is this whining when I **** gears and the sound consistent through the gears, am I making sense. Have you drained the transmission and refilled it with fresh Honda MTF?

 

Does the noise go away if you depress the clutch in neutral? If so one of the 5 bearings on the main or countershaft is bad (usually it's the input shaft bearing) The bearings don't cost much, but you do have split the transmission to replace them.
