Default do i need a new clutch?

what is going on honda-tech, I am having a problem with my car i drive a 96 honda civic with a d16y8, my problem is when i started my car this morning my car wouldn't go into any gear, When i went into reverse it would grind gears but i got it going, when i was on the highway earlier today there was traffic so i put the car in neutral then when i tried putting it in gear it wouldn't go in so i pulled over to the side but when i let off the clutch pedal it took it like a second to go up yet again i got it going and got it home but when i turned the car off the pedal got a bit hard again.

LONG STORY SHORT: I wasn't able to go into gear and my clutch pedal took a second to come up after i let it go the clutch grabbed at the very bottom, and as soon as parked and turned the car off the pedal got hard. Could it be the clutch or slave cylinder? Thanks again.

If your slave cylinder went you'd have no clutch at all, like the pedal would feel like it's just hanging there with no resistance when you press it.Might be master.

Yea id say it sounds like more of a hydraulic issue than clutch issue

Have you checked your clutch fluid level? First step.
