90 accord A4 engine

Car will sometimes be hard to start. Turns over fine. Sometimes tries to start but acts like it isn't getting gas but I have checked the fuel rail and it is getting gas. . Will eventually start and run fine. Most of the time the car starts perfectly fine. I also pulled a plug and it seems to fire fine.

I did just replace the master relay. Didn't seem to solve problem.

I saw a website that mention possible ignition switch problem.

Any other ideas? It's annoying and a little frightening to my 16year old daughter who drives the vehicle.

 

The next time it doesn't start, immediately test for spark.

How does the spark plugs, distributor cap, and distributor rotor looking ? Replace if necessary. Be sure to gap the spark plugs correctly.
