Default car wont start

i have a 1991 Honda accord that wont start. this happened a day after i drove it and the next day i replaced the distributor cap, the rotor, and the spark plugs just to do some regular maintenance and the car wouldn't start. i checked the to see if there was spark and there wasn't. i replaced the distributor with one from my brothers 91 Integra that worked and still no spark. any help will be greatly appreciated. thanks

Were you sure to plug both connectors in properly?

yea i plugged both connectors in properly. i tested the spark by pulling the spark plug out and grounding it while my brother was trying to turn on the car. the was no spark.
