2004 Honda Civic Overheating.
Ive just got my 2004 Honda Civic Sport, It Drove Sweet For 3/4 Days And Then The Issue Developed. From What I Can Tell And From My Basic Knowledge That It Is Not The Thermostat. The Top Pipe Is Boiling Hot And The Bottom Pipe From The Radiator Is Stone Cold Which Means That The Coolant Is Not Circulating. Anyone Have This Happen To Them And Know A Fix.
Hello,
Does it overheat at idle? If so, check for leaks well warming up under the hood. Check all coolant hoses, heater hoses and the radiator core itself. If no visible leaks detected then check the water pump seal and the bearing on the water pump. Sometimes the bearing will go bad and coolant will leak from there. Check the oil and see if it looks like coolant has been going into the oil. This would be a sign of a headgasket issue. Hope this helps and good luck!

From What I Saw There Was No Leak And The Head Had Blown But I Think This Is Due To Coolent Not Running Round The System Is There Any Chance There Could Be A Blockage, Both Fans Spin Up And The Rad Does Pressurize. But There Is A Big Loss Of Coolent And No Leak. Oil Is Still Like Oil Not Coolent.

So there's no visible signs of coolant leaking anywhere? Did you check underneath your car and see if coolant was dripping on the ground? If it's not going in the oil then it was to be leaking somewhere. Did the water pump look dry? Your heater core lines also have coolant in them. Check there for leaks.
