2012 Civic SI weird problems. S.O.S.
My friend's Honda Civic SI is stranded right now and we can't figure out why.
Here's the story.
We left someone's house and the car was acting funny. It would have a hard time taking turns and the steering was hard to use. We stopped at a gas station and the radio stopped working, but the car was still running. Turned the car off, tried turning it back on and it wouldn't start.
Jumped the car once and it turned on, but the dash blinked all of these warning signs (ABS system power steering, charging system, etc) - - then it started to rev itself while on the clutch and brake, but not on the gas, so we turned the car off again and now it won't start again.
What is going on?

sounds like its a major electrical problem. Since the power steering , and throttle are all controlled electronically in these cars. I would have it towed to the nearest honda dealer or honda specialized shop.
Sounds like a short inside the battery... I suggest you try putting another NEW battery in the car before you have it towed. If the battery fixes the problem, no money is spent on the tow.
good call, i don't even think of the cost of a tow anymore because I have had the top level of AAA for so long lol. Since I track my car i had to make sure to have coverage for a track that was almost 200 miles away.

Most electrical issues are ground related, so before you spend any money, check/clean your main grounds, DO NOT just eyeball them, disconnect/clean/reconnect.
The main grounds are the batt. neg. post, batt. to chassis and chassis to engine.
If that was not it, then I would go with what JRCivic1 said, replace with new or known working batt. 94
