how did you do it?!
There are 5 ways to remove and replace and engine in a cvic.
1. Cherry Picker. (its ony $230.. cheapest and most feasible).
2. Chain Block attached to roof of garage. (garage pillar must be reinforced)
3. Car Lift (drop engine from under... shops have this)
4. Take the engine piece by piece. (Will take you forever)
5. Lift engine with bare hands ( U have to have lots of friends ....... a stupid way of doing it)

to put my b18 in we put the car on jackstands and held the car with a jack we lowered the car as low as it could go on a jack of course. the car didnt have any wheels on the front of it so amost to the ground so we properd it on some bricks loosend the engine. on the brick and then friends came in we lifted the car bare hands. its a verry light car moved it back about a couple of feel droped car down back on jack stands picked up engine moved it to the side brung in new b18 put it on the bricks moved car back repeted it in revers
simple took like 4 hours out and in

You can actually do a swap with two floor jacks. One to lift the car. Set the motor on the other and work it into place. Trust me, it works. I've done it before. It's not the easiest way, but it does work.
I think buying an engine lift would be your best bet. I bought one f my swap, I was able to drive my car into my garage pull my old motor from the car and have the car back in the drive way waiting for the new motor in under two hours with only one other person helping me, when I installed my b16 into the car I had one friend with me and we had the new motor installed into the engine bay all bolted up in 40 minutes. I think over and over again my engine lift was worth every penny it made life so much easier when doing the swap.
Kind of like this
Works great!! We have used it to pull a 3.4l Oldsmobile iron block. And a Mitsu 4G63 iron block. All of them included the tranny!!
