get a couple jacks, 3 would be better) with a board or something flat on top of them. jack the car way up, slide the jacks and board underneath. remove engine like normal onto board. lower it down. hopefully you can get the front end high enough to clear everything.

yah honestly, to put the motor back in the car without an engine hoist, ur gunna be hurting.

Save up 150 bux and buy one, youll save more time then u can imagine.

About a month or so ago we swapped out my friends stock dx engine and put a b18a in it from under the car......it was our first swap so i dont know how much more difficult it was than using a cherry picker. It really wasnt that hard though getting the b18 in from under the car but you might wanna have a few more people there to help. We physically had to lift the front of his car up because the jacks wouldnt go high enough for the new motor to fit. Oh yea we used a creeper to sit the engine on and slide it around like that....it was much easier than us lifting the beast and trying to move it that way. Anyway good luck on the swap!
