Default Water/meth kit plus q16? HELP

Currently have a turbo ls/v setup on 2 tunes. Makes 427whp on 93 and 557whp on q16. Since q16 is $15/gallon I've been debating on adding a 5gal aem water/meth kit to the setup. Both tunes are plenty safe for the car, thinking the added aem kit will allow for a bit more boost while staying "safe"... thinkin...500whp on 93+meth. My main question/concern is will the meth act the same way with the q16? As far as iat's/afr's go? Don't know if meth serves any purpose being mixed with that fuel... if it has beneficial effects like it would with pump gas, thinkin of shooting for a safe tune pushing 600whp on the q16+meth. Any and all insight greatly appreciated.

Edit: the whole reason 4 asking is b/c I'd rather run the 93/meth setup more and save some $, and only using the q16 for track or racing in Mexico w/$ involved. But don't wanna spend $500 for the kit plus $ for retune if it's essentially not really worth it

Short answer, yes.. but closer to c16, or C110 depending upon methanol mixture type.

*waiting on sometime with E85 sheeple solution to come in*

I have to drive 30+ min to get e85, and that gas station has been known to have shitty fuel... so no thanks.

I wish I could jump on the bandwagon. E85 is 100 miles away from me and shipping by the drum brings the price pretty close to C16.

You will be able to make the same 550 whp you are making on c16 with 93octane + a meth kit properly setup & spraying 100% m1, m3 or m5

You will need a retune. You will want to properly setup the kit & fail safes etc.

FYI you can make well over 600whp on q16 without meth & you can make close to 500 whp on a properly setup & tuned turbo bseries on 93 octane.

Ok I figured as much. My main question though was asking about adding meth to the Q16

There's no point in doing that. The point is to have reasonable knock resistance. You have all the corrosive effects of Q16, and only half the benefits. . You don't stack all the benefit together.
