5.06 Final drive

new to the group,
Just wondering if anyone has ran a kraftwerks S/C 8th gen Si with a 5.06 Final drive at the track? was thinking on going that route. any input would be appreciated

You'll be crossing the line in fifth. Leave the 4.7 or 4.3.

thanks. I'm in 5th now across the line, I figured if I went to the 5.06 I'd be in 5th longer and would make a better time

Just to be clear, you realize a higher number FD makes the gears shorter correct?

Fully aware of the shorter gears. I know of ppl using the 5.06 Fd and DC5r 4th and 5th gear but they are all motor.

what FD do you currently have? I'm guessing a 4.764? if so, id actually look into going with the 4.389FD it'll let you stay in 4th and will improve you're ET, if you're already having to shift into 5th.
