I just aquired a transmission now, has the whole synchrotech carbon synchs new hubs and sleeves, mfactory lsd, mfactory 4.7 fd. Now I counted the gears, 1st and 2nd, gsr, then 3rd,4th,5th ls. Or could just be ls with a 4.7 fd installed unless the 3rd 4th and 5th were added from an ls gearbox. My question was. My 4th gear main has 30 and the counter has 29, backwards I suppose?

Sounds like an LS trans with 4.7 FD but it may have an upgraded GSR 2nd since 2nd is the same ratio. If the 2nd is GSR it will have a 3 piece 2nd synchro and if it is LS it will have a single piece synchro. 4th main 30T and counter 29T is an LS. The GSR 4th has main 29T and counter 30T with larger synchros.
